What have you been worrying about lately?

I know with all the upheaval, change and mayhem going on in the world,

Your list could be pretty long.

It is super easy to get caught up in drama when things are looking a little bleak and uncertain.

So agreed,there are a lot of things you could be worrying about.

But how many of these do you actually have any control over?

Not many of them, I am guessing.

And worrying takes up a LOT of energy and focus.

It can drag you down to a place that you don’t need to be.

It can distract you from the things that need to be done.

So it doesn’t make much sense to be worrying over things you can’t change.

How much better to spend that time and energy on things that you can do something about?

And there are two things that you always have 100% control over.

Your attitude and effort.

When you focus your attention on what you are thinking and what you are doing,

You can be intentional with your life and set the wheels in motion,

Pushing them in the direction you want them to go.

Or ………..

you can just wallow and endlessly worry.

You always have the choice.

There are always possibilities and opportunities.

There is always a way to feel, even just a little better.

It is when you put your focus here that things begin to change.

Write a list of all your worries.

Cross out all the ones you have no control over.

Circle all the ones that you do.

Focus on those and see what happens.
