It is exciting to have a goal.

An idea of what you want to achieve in the future.

And a vision of how life is going to be,

Once you are successful.

Once you lose 10 kg, once your business is successful, once you climb that mountain, or whatever it is you are aiming to achieve.

And that is fantastic to have a clear vision.

It is important to know what you want.

But there is something else you need in order to reach your goal.

There are certain behaviours; actions and ways of being that, of course, will be required.

So along with outcome goals, it is a good idea to have behaviour goals as well.

e.g. skipping the junk food, drinking 8 glasses of water, making 10 business offers a day, eating more fruit and vegetables, going for a regular walk, being kind, showing up

What do you need to do to reach your goal? 

Make these your behaviour goals.

I know it is not as exciting as the outcome goal, but this is where you need to keep your day to day focus.

Oftentimes the successful attainment of your goal can seem quite far away.

It can take weeks, months, even years to achieve what you want.

It can be hard to keep you eyes on the prize with such a long term view.

This can make it hard to keep the motivation and momentum going.

But the behaviour goals, these, you can celebrate each and every day.

Let these little everyday wins power your motivation to keep moving forward.

Keep your attention on who you need to be and what you need to do each day

And your chances of success will sky-rocket,

Enjoy the journey.
